Pesticide Resistance Management
This course covers designing of spray programmes with resistance management as a priority. Pesticide resistance is a global problem. Agrochemical companies have collaborated to identify the risk of resistance occurring for all active ingredients in fungicides and insecticides. Participants will review their current crop protection programs using the IRAC and FRAC lists and if necessary redesign their programs to reduce the risk of resistance.
The course also covers the use of bio pesticides with chemical pesticides for an immediate resistance management solution. Senior crop protection managers will find this a very practical useful exercise.
